The audience for this brand is, mainly, young adults - though with its broad product range, Kitsound attracts audiences from all ages and backgrounds. This means it's important to ensure our tone is general and attractive to all.

Kitsound is a brand that, as well as being sold online, is also carried by physical retailers. This means that packaging copy is, for Kitsound, just as important as website copy for online-based brands. The main purpose of packaging copy is to both inform and entice - and in a shop, this is even more important, as our product will be physically surrounded by competitors. The copy on Kitsound's packaging, therefore, is short, to-the-point, simple, and consistently on-tone, to engage customers from the moment they pick it off the shelf.

Online marketplaces

Kitsound, aside from being sold on its own website, is also available on multiple online marketplaces, like Amazon and Very. Because of this, it's important to create copy that outlines the brand and creates cohesion with the rest of the brand, while appealing to that marketplace's customers, and abiding by their guidelines.

As an audio brand, Kitsound has a lot of competition - especially on social media. The challenge on social media channels is to create eye-catching content that customers and potential buyers find interesting, while maintaining the voice of the brand and providing key information - especially where this relates to giveaways and deals.
My job when it comes to Kitsound's social media is to approve copy on images, and provide captions that are on-tone and informative.
